Web Developer
Beverly Hills, CA
The Web Developer will work closely with the Creative and Software Engineering departments as the bridge between design and programming. This position will work with the ASP.Net web applications which support the company’s multiple personals websites.
Responsibilities:
- Work with creative designers to construct mock-ups for new web projects
- Work with engineering to map-out how the web page will interact with the back-end
- Develop the planning documentation for how pages will interact with the back-end
- Be a proponent of clear and concise ASP.Net, HTML, and CSS
- Develop HTML, CSS, and ASP.Net for the websites
- Help define and support a long term strategy for HTML, images, CSS, and ASP.Net
Required:
- Extensive experience writing HTML and CSS
- Experience and expert knowledge in Adobe Photoshop
- Experience in transferring graphic images (jpg, psd, etc) into well formed and validated HTML/XHTML
- A good understanding of HTML doctypes
- Experience and knowledge in browser compatibility and HTML bug avoidance
- Experience and expert knowledge in ASP.Net, specifically control types and purposes
- An understanding of what ASP.Net controls render out to the browser
- Experience with templating and code re-use
- Experience and understanding of JavaScript
- An understanding of source control management from an end-user perspective
- 2+ years of design and development experience
Helpful:
- Experience in working with .Net, code behind files, and C#
- Experience with PHP, Perl, Ruby, or Python
- AJAX experience
- XML experience
- SEO optimization understanding and knowledge
