Senior Financial Analyst
Beverly Hills, CA
The Senior Financial Analyst will have a solid background in finance, planning, and operations analysis. In addition to having a strong understanding of online subscription and/or e-commerce models, he/she will be able to measure online marketing performance, ROI and lifetime value and will be able to analyze M&A opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop financial models using operating metrics and data from internal reporting systems.
- Provide sensitivity analysis of pricing, increased direct response marketing, and other variables.
- Work with business unit managers to monitor monthly operating results and develop forward-looking forecasts.
- Track subscriber economics including lifetime value and subscriber acquisition cost.
- Evaluate new business and M&A opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or CPA a plus.
- 5+ years senior analyst experience.
- Working knowledge of finance and accounting principles including revenue recognition, unit economics, sensitivity analysis, and discounted cash flow analysis.
- Working experience with an accounting or planning system (Spark uses Great Plains) and experience using statistical software such as SPSS.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
