Marketing and Events Manager
Beverly Hills, CA
The Marketing and Events Manager will contribute to the development of many aspects of two of Spark’s properties, Kizmeet.com and HurryDate.com. He/she will split his/her time between marketing planning and implementation on Kizmeet.com and event coordination for HurryDate speed dating parties. The Marketing and Events Manager will be responsible for reaching web traffic goals on Kizmeet.com through a varied marketing mix and will assist HurryDate staff in the execution of events on all levels.
Responsibilities:
Kizmeet
Determine the most appropriate media mix to increase web traffic; coordinate campaigns through all phases of launch and maintenance, including negotiation of the media buy, contract review and approval, creative development, trafficking, reporting and analysis and optimization.
- Analyze user feedback and habits to determine and implement new site features
- Seek out, negotiate and close significant cross-promotional partnerships and event sponsorships/involvement
- Identify, develop, implement and analyze innovative, customer-focused, results-oriented promotions
HurryDate
Work with party hosts all over the country to facilitate events.
- Hire and train new hosts when needed in various cities
- Determine and manage efficient event materials distribution system
- Assist and motivate hosts to implement local, grassroots marketing programs
Qualifications:
- Two to four years related experience that includes:
- Achieving aggressive goals with limited budgets
- Media buying and knowledge of various deal structures including CPM, CPC and CPA
- Developing creative, results-driven plans on a variety of small, up-and-coming brands
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field
- Resourceful, independent worker able to solve problems without much guidance
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organization and communication (oral/written) skills
- Friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic personality
- Strong insight into the media landscape including social networking sites
- Experience managing multiple, competing priorities, duties and/or projects
