Manager Quality Assurance
Beverly Hills, CA
The Manager, Quality Assurance is a leadership position, working with the product management, software engineering, project management, and systems engineering teams to test and release world-class web sites and associated support systems. The candidate will be responsible for providing measurable standards for compliance and supporting a range of quality engineering and reliability testing activities related to product development. They should be a resourceful problem solver with good communication, organizational, and analytical skills. They will oversee a team of motivated Test Engineers who conduct Regression and end-to-end functional testing.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the creation and updates of detailed test plans and test cases
- Drive the creation, execution, and reporting of an automated test suite
- Develop the test framework, test planning, test design, and test implementation process for Spark Networks
- Provide technical direction, mentorship, and support to the QA team
- Develop strong regression tests
- Participate with software engineering in the implementation of white-box/automated testing
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience leading a Software QA testing team in support of websites
- Exceptional management skills: Hiring, mentoring, goal setting, terminations, performance management, and motivating team members
- 3+ years of automated functional, regression, unit, and user acceptance testing
- 3+ years experience performing automated testing of websites
- 5+ years experience defining, creating, executing, and documenting Test Plans and Test Cases
- Experience developing and executing automated test tools from scratch
- Experience with SQL
