Marketing and Events Intern The Marketing and Events Intern should be energetic, enthusiastic, organized and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate for this position is able to work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision. He/she will support the Travel and Events team with projects ranging from helping plan, organize and execute events throughout the country to standard administrative tasks such as data entry, scheduling and monitoring the phones. The Marketing and Events Intern will have the opportunity to aid in the planning and organization of the events which they will attend. A large part of this position will be online marketing; including the use of social networking websites such as Myspace.com, Facebook.com and Quarterlife.com. Brainstorming and implementing initiatives to drive traffic to websites, as well as build notoriety of products will be the key goals of this internship.
