CALL CENTER REPRESENTATIVE

Provo, UT

Spark Networks (www.spark.net) is seeking an educated and experienced customer support/ sales agent for our call center in Provo, Utah.  This position requires someone who is highly organized, has excellent communication and follow-through, and can use good-judgment.  Highly motivated individuals who are passionate about quality, world-class service, and have superior interpersonal skills are encouraged to apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Resolve customer questions and issues through effective customer service techniques
  • Optimize the customer experience by moving through the subscription process.
  • Retain customers through effective concern resolution

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 2 years of college
  • Previous call center experience a plus but not required.
  • Two years of solid customer service experience
  • Inbound/ outbound sales experience a plus
  • Type 40 WPM
  • Flexible with schedule and able to work at any time; including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
  • Must pass a 10 year background check. 
  • A cheerful, pleasant attitude
  • A willingness to learn and grow in the position
  • Excellent telephone and written skills
  • Strong customer service skills allowing you to provide Spark quality on each call.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to make determinations in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Regular attendance and punctuality

REQUIREMENTS FOR WORKING FROM HOME:

  • Provide one telephone line and a high speed internet connection
  • Have one updated computer available for work use. 
  • Have a safe and professional home office, free from background noise and distraction.
  • Live within the local calling area
  • Knowledge of effective call management techniques (call flow, conflict resolution, etc.)
